On a bright Thursday morning, the team from AI-4AI, in collaboration with our enthusiastic partners at Datapoint IT Center, brought the world of artificial intelligence to life at Ahwrease Presby School. The energy was electric as students gathered to explore the fascinating world of AI in a fun, interactive, and engaging way.

Participants and Age Range
A total of 31 curious minds from the lower and upper primary sections, aged between 11 and 15, took part in this exciting outreach event.

What is AI?
Students were introduced to the concept of artificial intelligence and how it mimics human thinking.

Hands-On Activity and Highlight of the Day
The highlight of the day was an exciting dive into generative AI. First, students interacted with an AI that could predict what they were drawing in real time—sparking laughter and amazement. They also experimented with Microsoft Designer, a generative AI tool that creates images from text prompts. The session wrapped up with a fun and insightful exploration of ChatGPT, where students saw how AI can generate stories, answer questions, and even help with homework!
What We Learned / Observations
The students were highly engaged and asked thoughtful questions throughout the session. They were especially intrigued by the differences between generative AI and traditional predictive models. Teachers were equally enthusiastic, noting how the session opened up new ways to integrate technology into learning.
