Africa-First Design Principles

1. African Leadership
Africans design, lead, and own this agenda. International partners support; they don't direct.
2. Equity as Default
We prioritise women, youth, and underrepresented regions. 50% of learners are women by 2030; 40% early-career researchers.
3. Evidence-Driven
We publish, we measure, we learn. Our frameworks, curricula, and pilots are grounded in research and continuously improved.
4. Open Access
Frameworks, curricula, datasets, case studies—shared freely. AI governance is too important to gatekeep.
5. Sustainability
By 2030, we want to generate 45% of revenue from institutional partnerships and earned income. Grant-dependency is risk; institutional revenue is stability.
